Barbadian climate activist and UNICEF Youth Advocate Ashley Lashley spoke with NowThis Earth at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on November 14 and had a message for young people who don’t feel like enough is being done about the climate crisis: ‘United we stand, divided we fall.’ Lashley said that today’s leaders won’t be tomorrow’s leaders and that the youth need to continue pushing the message that the future must be protected.
In his diving surveys, ecologist Henri Vallès is finding that once-struggling reefs are on the mend.
