" Managing and Protecting Our Country's Natural Resources"
ACTIVITIES

Here at the Coastal Zone Management Unit we believe that we have a social responsibility to offer opportunities where possible, and assistance where necessary, to the Barbadian community. Furthermore we have a professional obligation to promote and participate in environmentally beneficial endeavours. To achieve these goals, the Unit regularly engages in public oriented activities.

Included in these activities are:

  • International Coastal Clean-Up Day
  • Sundown Beach Walks
  • Summer Seminar Series
  • A summer internship programme for secondary and tertiary level students
  • Lectures to schools and educational institutions, NGO's, private organizations and the general public

Please see Related Information on this page to learn more about these activities.
